Happy Holidays London!

Our Holly Jolly Market is officially over! We're so grateful for the support and community engagement over these past three weekends. There were so many highlights of Holly Jolly, from crafts to cocktails, hot chocolate to horse rides, music to Miss. T The Bubble Queen, there was truly something for everyone. We love to see your photos and market hauls from these past few weeks; it's been so special looking at all the smiling faces.
There were so many great holiday gift opportunities at Holly Jolly; I took home some caramel apple pie filling from The Pie Boss London, a simmer bag from SacredGrace, and some ceasar rimmer from RimJobs & Meatrubs. It's amazing to see so much local talent, both musically and creatively as well. Anna Marie Pottery had gorgeous handmade mugs in all different shapes and sizes and Created by Shai and J had beautiful boho macrame ornaments. Amber from A Little Bird Shop even had live painting! There is no shortage of creative talent in London, and we're so thankful that we go to celebrate that this holiday season.
Down below, you'll find some of the Holly Jolly highlights:

Vendors

Special shoutout to our incredible indoor and outdoor vendors who brought a variety of different goods to Holly Jolly. We had vendors outside braving the cold and vendors on the upper-level Mezzanine. It was great to chat with different small business owners who were excited by the turnout and happy to share how they make their products. I even caught a couple of our outdoor vendors dancing along to the live music, and can you blame them?

LIVE MUSIC

We had so many amazing live performers at Holly Jolly. From WingNight to Splash N boots, Justin Maki to London Arts Council, there was always dancing and singing on the square. We even had a magic show and bubbles for all the kids, and I saw some adult smiles as well! We love to showcase local talent, and the responses we heard were amazing! There was a combination of Christmas tunes, original songs, hip-hop, jazz and more! We appreciate all performers who braved the cold in order to provide entertainment to the Holly Jolly Market.

FREE HOT CHOCOLATE

Our free hot chocolate station was a HIT! There were always smiling faces lined up, and we don’t blame you; who can resist free hot chocolate? Special shoutout to The Market Cafe and Hasbeans for supplying the hot chocolate for this delicious stand!

HORSE AND CARRIAGE RIDES

Nothing screams holiday fun more than a horse and carriage ride through the city. It was great seeing so many kids, couples, and friends ride while singing Christmas tunes! Special shoutout to A Universal Carriage for putting in the work every Thursday and Sunday!

FOOD VENDORS

We had peameal bacon sandwiches for breakfast, brisket on a bun for lunch, tacos for dinner and churros for dessert! There were many tasty food vendors at Holly Jolly, making sure we had something to fill us up as we shopped inside and outside the Market.

SANTA'S REINDEER

The most adorable addition to the Holly Jolly Market was the beloved reindeer, Comet! There’s nothing more magical than meeting Santa and one of his best helpers all on the same day!

Fun fact: Did you know that all of Santa’s reindeer are female? Male reindeer shed their antlers in the winter, and female reindeer keep them. Santa’s reindeer are always shown with antlers, meaning Santa’s pack is a strong female bunch!

Farmer's Market 2023

Just a reminder that there is no Farmer’s Market in January.

The 2023 Farmers’ Market will resume upstairs in the Mezzanine starting Saturday, February 4th 9am to 1pm and will move back outside Saturday, April 8th (Easter Weekend) 8am to 1pm.

Market Gift Cards

Looking for the perfect gift for the Market lover?

Make sure to pick up your Market gift cards at the Market Office or at Magpies Collected Creations. We have denominations of $5, $10, or $20 and they are accepted by all vendors, including our Farmers Market vendors.

A Market gift card is a great stocking stuffer for students and a great way to support local businesses.

Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree!

Our big, beautiful Christmas tree will be coming down on December 28th. If you haven’t already, make sure to stop by the Market to check out the first-ever lit-up tree in the centre of Rotary Square.

Happy Holidays London! We hope everyone has a relaxing break with friends and family.
