First Farmers’ Market Back!
January 10, 2019
January 10, 2019
Step 1: Hit up one of our coffee shops for your morning brew!
Step 2: Get in line for Seth’s bread. It goes quickly.
Step 3: Do a walk around the market, take inventory and then decide on a shopping list. Markets are a little different than the grocery store. There is always something new and being flexible with your menu is a good skill to have!
Step 4: Still feeling unsure what to buy? Pop down for warm gooey burek from the Hot Oven, slip into our FREE Cooking class and learn the ways of Chef Carmen for inspiration.
Step 5: With 1 hour left of market, make the rounds and get all the goods you need to nourish you for the week ahead.
Step 6: Missing some things on your list? Don’t forget about our permanent vendors downstairs. They have a wide selection to choose from!
Our beloved free cooking classes have returned! We’ve got a stacked line up of amazing chefs for you this season. This week, Chef Carmen Barquero will be teaching us how to make a vegetarian “Rustic Roasted Winter Vegetable Chowder” and “Honeybutter Oat Bread.” Chef Carmen has hosted and taught many classes around London ON and we are looking forward to having her at the Farmers’ Market this weekend.
