Grateful for the Cold

Last night was another cold one, London! While this winter has been pretty mild, it can still be a bit discouraging to head out onto the slippery roads to reach our many different destinations. The main thing I've been telling myself to keep me positive is that our winters are simply part of the climate we live in that allows us to grow many of the wonderful fresh foods we enjoy throughout the year! Those beautiful tomatoes, carrots, corn cobs, and SO MUCH MORE love our continental climate! Hopefully this will keep the smiles on your faces as you bundle up, shovel those walkways, and enjoy that crisp winter air.

Recipes!

As you know, each week we host a cooking class upstairs in the market kitchen. This class has become very popular and we are beyond excited to see so many people interested in expanding their knowledge on local food: where to find it, how to eat it, what to do with it, and why to LOVE it.

Due to *very* popular demand, we will now be posting each week’s recipes right here on the blog the week after the class!

Last week, our class was hosted by Chef Ankita Vaidya who made a delicious Mushroom Mutter Masala served with Garlic Nan. It was wonderful to see the support and kind words offered to our Chef after the class! Look below to see what’s happening in our kitchen this week!
