Mother’s Day Weekend

Mother's Day weekend is a special time of year where the most popular gift (flowers) are in full bloom locally, fresh seasonal food is filling the market and hopefully some sun is washing away the winter blues. Make this weekend special for an important person in your life by heading down to the outdoor farmers' market. We will have a kids craft table with Mother's Day Cards to decorate, as well as a special cooking class with Stephanie from the Tea Haus teaching us on the fine art of afternoon-tea. Details to follow below!

Thursday Market

Our Thursday evening market has officially started. With a small start our market will grow both Saturdays and Thursdays as more and more produce comes into season. Make sure to take advantage of spring times offerings of crisp salad greens, sweet asparagus, and tart rhubarb! Joining us for music was Essence of Rain for May 9th. Next week May 16th, Deni Gauthier will be serenading us. We are looking forward to celebrating local talent all summer long.

Tea with Mum!

The Tea Haus is a special place that is tucked upstairs indoors at Covent Garden. Always bustling with activity it is a key feature of the Market. You can find people sipping their teas, chatting with the wonderful staff and always learning from their deep knowledge on the subject.

Set up a date with your Mom or a loved one and learn from the best in the business. We will be learning about afternoon tea, how it works and what to serve! The workshop is free to attend and runs 11-12. The first 20 guests will receive a $5 gift card to the market courtesy of the Tea Haus. What better way to celebrate!
