Hello all! I spent today in Niagara Falls at the Ontario Fruit and Vegetable Convention and it was wonderful to be surrounded by so many people passionate about farming. Being away from home for even just one day revealed how much I appreciate my accessibility to local farmers and producers that I know and trust. (I’ll have to pack a lunch next time!!). Please show your appreciation for your farmers and producers – a kind word, a shout-out, or a visit to your local farmers’ market to support their business will not go unnoticed!

Encouraging the Farmers of Tomorrow!

Every Saturday, the lovely Dotsy joins us to host a kids’ craft! Last week, she made squishy fruits and veggies and this week she is set to teach us how to make party hats! We are so happy with how many of our younger market community join us for this program and we hope they continue to join us for years to come! Help us in this effort and encourage those around you of ALL ages to visit their local farmers’ market to meet their farmer!
