Two More Thursday Markets!

Happy Thursday! Crazy news: we only have two more Thursday Evening Farmers' Markets left! One is tonight, and the other is the week of Halloween. Make sure to stop by if you haven't yet, and grab a cold beer, a personal pie, and fill your bag with some fresh veg. This Thursday we have two new vendors joining us who you will spot more this coming extended season on Saturdays as well. See below for more info on them!

Doreen from Embellish Co. makes felted wool products, just in time for the coming cold season. Blankets, slippers, hats, and more! They will be at Market tonight, and a few dates in Nov and Dec!

Belvedere Lavender Farm is a lavender farm from Woodstock that makes and sells lavender infused products including bath salts, oils and more. They hope to be at Market this Thursday and next and throughout the Nov/Dec months as well!

Make sure to give them both a warm welcome, friends!

Fall Food Fest

THANK YOU to everyone who came out for Fall Food Fest! It was a blast!đŸŽâ™„ïžđŸ‚

🍎We had 9 pie entries for our pie contest! It was VERY hard work judging them 😋 but we managed! The first place winner received a lovely market basket!

🍎Thank you to everyone who voted on our funny vegetables! The heeled boot eggplant from Thames River Melons received the most votes and will receive their prize! (A lovely bottle of white wine from Pillitteri Wines!)

🍎The pumpkin seeds, jalapeño slices and tomatoes have been counted and the winners for the guessing competition have been notified! Fun Fact: there were 457 seeds in that small pumpkin and yes, we did count each one by hand.

🍎The cooking class, squash challenge, cider slushies, and apple tasting were excellent!

🍎We had SO MANY food donations for the London Food Bank and can’t wait to hear how many pounds!

🍎HUGE thank you to Growing Chefs for their hard work and our community for their support and donations to children’s food education projects!

See you next year when we do it all over again🍎🍂
