A Wonder-fall Saturday at the Market!

Thanksgiving may be over, but don't let that stop you from enjoying some more fall festivities before the weather gets too cold! This Saturday will be one to remember at the Market with our Fall Food Fest happening during our regular Outdoor Farmer's Market! GrowingChefs! will be hosting this incredible event full of apples, pies, live music and plenty of delicious foods and interactive activities!
GrowingChefs! is a registered charity in London specializing in food education projects to get kids and communities excited about healthy, wholesome foods! We're so excited to collaborate with a local charity that encourages confidence and enthusiasm in the kitchen. Stay tuned-you may see a future collab with GrowingChefs! in our 2023 Market Calendar coming soon!
And we can't forget The Sweater Weather Artisan Market happening in the upstairs Mezzanine! Looking at all the vendor's fall-themed creations is getting us so excited; from pumpkin earrings to handmade soaps, you'll find the perfect gift for yourself or your loved ones! What better way to spend a Saturday than browsing through our outdoor Farmer's Market and Fall Food Fest, shopping our Fall-themed vendors and watching our free cooking class in The Market Kitchen? There's so much to do, and truly something for everyone!

This is the list, folks! See who you can find at the Farmers’ Market this Saturday, October 15th! Click on their names to find information on pre-orders and to learn more about their farms and businesses!

Check out their websites for more information about their products and to see what’s in season/currently available!

Parsnips – they’re sweet and funky and really good in soup or added to a tray of roasted veg.

Rainbow Carrots – full of anti-oxidants, add some variety to your plate!

Daikon Radish – a staple in other parts of the world, this is a great addition to a coleslaw or stir-fry.

Plum Tomatoes – probably the last of these babies, because it’s getting chilly next week.

Kimchi – new batch kimchi, with lots of that fresh ginger, garlic, tatsoi and pokchoi.
