LIVE MUSIC AT THE FARMERS MARKET

Vinnie Vincenzo will be performing outside on the Rotary Square this Saturday from 8:30am to 10:30am.

Vinnie Vincenzo is a versatile musician known for his captivating performances of popular music and classic rock. Vinnie Vincenzo’s  musical journey began at the young age of 14 when he  joined a wedding band, which helped him hone  his skills as a skilled instrumentalist and vocalist over six years. Inspired by the power of music, he ventured into the realm of melody and became a melty instrumentalist.

STORYTIME AT THE FARMERS MARKET

Jiggesty-jig! Children’s Library is on the road. Grab your kids and head outside to the Rotary Square Saturday, June 17th at 10:30am for a half hour of special storytimes featuring stories, songs and rhymes!

LIVE MUSIC AT THE FARMERS MARKET

Trope will be performing on the Rotary Square this Saturday from 11am to 1pm.

Trope is an alternative rock band with progressive elements featuring vocalist Diana Studenberg and producer/mixer Moonhead. Some of their influences include STP, Soundgarden, Deftones, Tool, Tori Amos, and Led Zeppelin. The band formed in 2017 and spent a couple of years writing and recording demos which became their debut album, Eleutheromania (2021).

SATURDAY COOKING DEMO

This Saturday, join us in the market kitchen for our cooking class hosted by Kimi Abdullah. Kimi will be demonstrating how to make a Indonesian-style BBQ with Satay Lilit and a Coconut Tamarind Salad!

 

Kimi will be accepting donations for My Sister’s Place if you are able to help out with any of the following items;

  • Used jewellery
  • Toiletry items (shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, razors, liquid body wash)
  • Unused makeup and unused/gently used makeup tools (eye shadow, blush, lipstick, brushes, brush cleaner)
  • Grab-and-go snacks (granola bars, applesauce cups, cereal bars )
  • Coffee, tea bags, sugar, coffee whitener
  • Pasta noodles, cooking oil, rice, olive oil, salad dressings

TUESDAY LIVE MUSIC

Mike Couture will be performing on the Rotary Square this coming Tuesday from 4pm to 5:30pm.

Solo musician and vocalist bringing songs from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s for dancing and listening pleasure. The artists he covers include Roy Orbison, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Neil Diamond, The Eagles, The Beatles, CCR, and more. A surefire crowd pleaser.

TUESDAY LIVE MUSIC

Luke MacKenzie will be performing on the Rotary Square this coming Tuesday from 5:30m to 7pm.

20+ years of experience performing and playing various stages around Southwestern Ontario and British Columbia.  30 years guitar and bass experience –  Luke was a huge Ween and Primus fan in high school. Now he loves Steely Dan and their knack for performance precision and high-fidelity audio techniques.

BEATS AND EATS

Join us on the Rotary Square every Thursday from 11am to 2pm for lunchtime grooves featuring local DJs with OA(SIS) London!
