  • 2c flour
  • 2c corn meal
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1c sugar
  • 1tbsp salt
  • 2c shredded cheddar
  • 3 jalapeños chopped
  •  1c cilantro chopped
  • 4 eggs
  • 2c milk
  • 1/2 c olive oil
  • 1/4c maple syrup
  • 1/4 butter

Directions

Warm savory jalapeño cheddar cornbread! Perfect for dipping.

  1. Mix dry ingredients.
  2. Mix wet ingredients.
  3. Incorporate together.
  4. Bake at 400f for 15 minutes approx. (muffins) 0r 20 minutes approx. (loaf)
  5. Brush with maple and butter.
