Chicken Noodle Soup

4-6 portions
Ingredients
- 4 pieces of skinless chicken pieces ( breasts/legs)
- large onion
- 2 medium sized potatoes
- 1 cup of finely chopped carrots
- 2 tbspoon tomatoes paste
- 1 bunch of parsley
- Egg noodle vermicelli
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 lemons

Directions
- Add Washed and clean chicken pieces to a stock pot
- Add chopped onions
- Salt and pepper, dash of turmeric
- Cover with water and bring to boil
- Once it boils lower heat and continue cooking chicken until tender
- Remove chicken pieces and separate meat from bones and put back into pot – add 2 cups of hot water
- Add carrots and potatoes
- Add tomatoe paste
- Cook until vegetables are tender
- Add the vermicelli and continue cooking
- Add some of the chopped parsley and turn heat off
- Serve in a bowl and garnish with a little parsley and lemon sliver on the side
