Did You Know? Market Edition

Welcome back! We hope you had a fantastic Father's Day last weekend! Although this past week was a bit more laid-back here at the Market, we still had our fair share of vibrant activities from our weekly Cooking Demonstration, Outdoor Farmer's Market, Kid's Craft Corner and more!
Looking ahead, we have an exciting weekend coming up! If you're looking for an indoor activity to stay cool, there will be beautiful cards showcasing incredible Indigenous artwork waiting to be coloured near Magpie's Collected Creations (Friday 9am-6pm). On Saturday the summer kick of event for Naturopathy for All is taking place upstairs in the Mezzanine 12pm to 5pm, featuring fitness dancing, yoga, health vendors and delicious foods! You won't want to miss out! Last but not least, on Sunday at 12pm we have the Celina Strings Year End Student Performance upstairs in the Lounge!
Stay tuned for more updates, event announcements and stories around the Market!

FAQ: Is my Dog Allowed in the Market?

🐾 Attention Pet Parents! 🐾 While we adore all furry friends, our Market is dedicated to supporting service and guide animals and their essential work🐕‍🦺 As such, we kindly maintain a no-pet policy within our indoor market, so that they can focus on their job and keep their owners safe! But fear not! Your furry companions are more than welcome to join the fun out on our bustling Market Square, especially during Farmers markets and vibrant events!🐶

FAQ: Where Can I Park at the Market

We get it, parking downtown can be super frustrating, but we’re here to make it much easier! Did you know, the Market has an underground parking lot with over 400 parking spots! You can find the entrance to the parking garage on King St. From Monday to Friday, your first hour of parking is free during Market hours, and on Weekends you get 2 hours of free parking during Market hours! Just make sure to validate your ticket at the machine in the Center Court. After the free hour(s), each additional 30 minutes is $3.00 and the Daily Maximum Rate is $15.00. Hopefully, parking downtown is a little less stressful now, and we can’t wait to see you at the Market!
