“The Candy Crawl is now a staple of Halloween in London, and it’s an honour to be part of it,” said Kelly Austin, General Manager of Canada Life Place with Oak View Group. “We love seeing families come together, costumes in full display, enjoying everything our downtown has to offer.”
Families are also invited to enjoy a day of Halloween games, spooky music and a mini market with the businesses of Dundas Place. In addition, you can dust off those costumes and head down to the Covent Garden Market from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm for a boo-tastic photo opportunity, treats for kids dressed in their best costumes, a bouncy castle and face painting from Team Dotsy, and live music from Larry Smith!
Attendees can also participate in Spooky Gourd Painting from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Eldon House Grounds. Families are encouraged to enjoy a fall afternoon on the grounds of Eldon House where children are able to decorate a mini gourd or learn about how Trick or Treating came to be. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please Note: Children 16 and under must be accompanied by a guardian. This program is rain or shine. Please dress and prepare accordingly. As a heritage site there is no public parking. There is public parking in and around the museum.
“This event is a great example of what happens when downtown partners come together to create something special,” said Brent Hodson, Marketing and Communications Manager for Downtown London. “It’s about celebrating local, building connections, and giving families another reason to love coming downtown. With 23 places participating, from restaurants and cafés to movies and music, this year’s Candy Crawl truly has something for everyone!”
