National Doughnut Day

Celebrated on the first Friday of June, National Doughnut Day was first created in 1938 by The Salvation Army to honour those who served doughnuts to soldiers during World War I. Every year, the Ontario Great Lakes Division, travels across the city to hand out free delicious doughnuts to commemorate this special day.
