Family Day Weekend!
February 13, 2020
February 13, 2020
As you may know from last week’s newsletter, Paige Postma has moved on from being our Farmers’ Market Manager after a wonderful year with us. The role has now been filled by myself, Patricia de Wit. It is a privilege to be able to join our hardworking and talented vendors and the welcoming community who are passionate about locally-grown food and locally-crafted goods direct from farmers, growers, and producers!
I’ve already had the pleasure of meeting so many of you and chatting about this year’s market seasons and it has only made me more excited to jump right in. Please introduce yourselves at your next visit to the market – I look forward to meeting you all!
I am so grateful to Paige for her guidance as she leads us into the Winter season and on behalf of our Farmers’ Market community, I thank her for her many contributions to the market. Paige, you will be missed and we wish you well!

*Please note, this is the “off season” for farming. At our weekly Saturday farmers’ market we pride ourselves in being a producer only market, with a minimum of 51% farmers. For this reason, our vendor base is much smaller in the winter, and vendors come and go as the product is available to sell. If you want to support local THIS is the market of choice! Thank you for supporting our vision and we will see you this weekend!*
