Anna operates Happy Wear, the best place to find children’s clothing with the cutest prints, all handmade with love! Anna always has a smile on her face and  a creative eye for the best animal print!

Anna says the best part of running her business is “seeing children come into her store and love everything!

BETTER BLEND SMOOTHIE BAR

Barbara operates Better Blend Smoothie Bar, the best spot for a healthy, fresh breakfast smoothie and avocado toast! Better Blend is the perfect spot for a morning or mid-day pick-me-up!

Barbara says the best part of running her business is “creating new menu items!”

THE TEA HAUS

Stefanie operates The Tea Haus, the perfect place to relax and enjoy your favourite blend. There are hundreds of different teas to choose from, from matcha to earl grey; you’ll be sure to find your new favourite!

This Saturday we have Katherine Fischer performing from 11am to 1pm upstairs in the Blue Lounge.

Like a re-discovered diary entry on your worst day, Katherine Fischer wants you to feel understood. With over 250 songs in her arsenal and counting, she hopes to be your tour guide through the darkest corners to the brightest balcony of her human experience.

This Saturday we have Jaidyn D’Entremont performing from 9am to 11am upstairs in the Blue Lounge.

Jaidyn D’Entremont is a musician, a singer-songwriter, and an aspiring composer. Jaidyn grew up in a creative household, establishing her love for creating music. Jaidyn writes her music in the genre of indie folk-pop, with thought-provoking lyrics that tell a story.

This Saturday, join us in the market kitchen for our cooking class hosted by Himadri Vyas. Himadri will be demonstrating how to make Daal (Lentils) with Rice!

The SOKONI Market is a celebration of local Black-owned entrepreneurship. Sokoni is a Swahili word, which means “in the market”, “to the market”, “at the market”.

 

Discover the flavours, fabrics, and artistry of Black entrepreneurs in London, Ontario. A unique shopping experience for all age groups and cultures — explore, mingle and shop!

MARCH 13th-17th IS MARCH BREAK AT THE MARKET!

There’s something happening every day in the upstairs Mezzanine during March Break! All activities are FREE and perfect for keeping kids busy during their break!

🫧On March 13th, Miss T. The Bubble Queen will be back with her signature bubble show from 12-1pm!

🪄On March 14th, Ricky The Magician will be putting on his signature magic show from 11am-12:00pm!

🎨On March 15th, Dotsy The Clown will be here with face painting, crafts and a bouncy castle from 11am-1pm!

☘️On March 16th, The Goggin Carroll School of Irish Dance will be putting on a traditional Irish dance performance from 12:30-12:45pm!

MAPLE FEST

Join us at our second annual Maple Syrup Festival!

Fun Fact: Canada produces over 80% of the world’s maple syrup!

And we love that! So much so, that we can’t wait to celebrate it with you Saturday, March 18th.

🍁 Join Fanshawe Pioneer Village to discuss all things “Maple” in the 19th and early 20th century!  How did early settlers learn about maple sap and why were maple trees so important both in the past and today?  Check out artifacts and images related to Maples and how they’ve been used as a symbol of Canada.

🍁 The Royal Canadian Regiment museum and the Children’s Museum will also be here with fun facts, history and crafts for the kids!

ST. PATRICK'S DAY BY THE LONDON BEER FEST

🍀St Patrick’s Day by The London Beer Fest is taking place outside on the Rotary Square Friday, March 17th from 4pm to midnight! With live music, drinks, food vendors and of course… green beer you won’t want to miss out!🍀

KOKEDAMA WORKSHOP

On Sunday, April 23rd, from 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m., Of The Earth Co will be hosting a Kokedama workshop in the Market Kitchen.

The class is $50 per person, and you’ll take home your very own Kokedama plant! During the workshop, you’ll learn about the history and origin of Kokedama, how to prepare a plant for wrapping, as well as how to bind and maintain your very own Kokedama-style planter.

The world’s most famous national men’s curling championship is in London until March 12th!

The 2023 Tim Hortons Brier, presented by AGI, will be played at Budweiser Gardens. 

Throughout the duration of the Tim Hortons Brier, The Rotary Square will be activated with:

🥌 Indoor curling is available in the upstairs Mezzanine throughout the duration of the Brier, and our light-up Brier sign is the perfect photo opportunity! 🥌

*Indoor curling will not be open on Sunday, March 12th.

Come check out the crokicurl rink and enjoy our outdoor food vendors! Crokicurl is a combination of two classics: crokinole and curling. Crokicurl is available from 11:00 a.m to 7:00 p.m, until March 12th (weather permitting).
