LAST INDOOR FARMERS’ MARKET OF THE SEASON!

This Saturday is the LAST indoor farmers' market of the season! That's right, the farmer's market will be outside soon and hopefully with a lot of sunshine! ☀️ There's nothing better than live music outside on rotary square, with fresh produce, flowers and artisan goods to shop from. 🥕💐
This weekend at the Market, we have cake decorating and pastries! If you have a sweet tooth like I do, now is a good time to join in on our cooking classes. There's always samples at the end, so don't forget to come and try these tasty treats! 🍰🍽️ 
Easter is coming up and we have lots of bunnies, chocolates and spring florals! Swing by the Market to start getting into the spring spirit! 💛💜

WHO CAN YOU FIND AT THE FARMERS MARKET?

This is the list, folks! See who you can find at the LAST Indoor Farmers’ Market, before we move outside for the season this, Saturday, April 1st from 9AM to 1PM upstairs in the Mezzanine. Click on their names to find information on pre-orders and to learn more about their farms and businesses! 

We even have some local artisans making an appearance!

LIVE MUSIC IN THE MEZZANINE

This Saturday, Madeline Hall will be performing from 9am to 11am in the Blue Lounge.

Madeline Hall is a guitarist and composer currently based in London, Ontario. Madeline is in her 3rd year of a Bachelor of Music degree in classical guitar performance at Western University, studying with Wilma van Berkel. Madeline is a three-time first-prize winner of the Ontario Music Festivals Association provincial guitar competition.

LIVE MUSIC IN THE MEZZANINE

This Saturday, Sam Hornby will be performing 11am to 1pm in the Blue Lounge.

Sam was raised learning Music through the folk tradition in England, where he discovered the freedom of fingerstyle guitar. He now lives in London, Ontario and can be found in the community playing contemporary fingerstyle folk, Celtic Music and jazz standards.

SATURDAY COOKING CLASSES

This Saturday, join us in the market kitchen for our cooking class hosted by by a new chef, Hannah Howey. Hannah will be demonstrating how to decorate a cake!

The SOKONI Market is a celebration of local Black-owned entrepreneurship. Sokoni is a Swahili word, which means “in the market”, “to the market”, “at the market”.

 

Discover the flavours, fabrics, and artistry of Black entrepreneurs in London, Ontario. A unique shopping experience for all age groups and cultures — explore, mingle and shop this Saturday from 2pm to 6pm upstairs in the mezzanine!

The Market will be closed April 7th (Good Friday) and April 9th (Easter Sunday). The Market will remain open April 10th (Easter Monday).
