Make Way For Fall

We're nearing the end of August and we can't believe how quick this summer flew by! ☀️ It's been a whirlwind of fun week after week! Last weekend, we had the ultimate celebration of culture at Taco Fest! We enjoyed birria tacos 🌮, refreshing drinks🍹, and electrifying entertainment – from the thrilling Lucha Libre matches, to the captivating Mariachi band performances 🎶🪕, it's safe to say that those in attendance were treated to an unforgettable experience.
Although summer seems to be drawing close to an end, we're not quite finished with festival season yet! This weekend the Market Square will come to life with the Manifest Music Festival on Saturday (4pm-11pm) and in September we still have Elevate Festival and Tamal Festival to look forward to. You can find our lively Outdoor Farmer's Market out on the Square on Saturdays (8am-1pm), enjoy our free Saturday cooking demonstrations up in the Market Kitchen (11am-12pm), and participate in tons of exciting workshops. Speaking of workshops, Magpie's Collected Creations will be hosting a "Swifty Bracelet Workshop" this weekend (Saturday & Sunday 11am-3pm) where you can make & trade beaded bracelets!
Reminder that the Market will be closed Monday for Labour Day as well as Tuesday. We'll be back open with our regular hours starting Wednesday, September 4th.
We're a little bittersweet about the end of summer – warm sunny days on the Market Square just hits different. However, we're also looking forward to the arrival of Autumn🍂– beautiful leaves, cozy drinks, and tons of fall festivities! So be sure to stay tuned for all the Market has to offer to keep the good times going into Fall!
