Maple Fest!

An exciting weekend ahead of us, here at the Market. With March Break in full swing, we still have a lot of fun in store for you and your kiddo's! Check out the details below:
March Break Kids Events:
  • March 14th: Enjoy a Bouncy Castle & Face Painting from 11am-1pm, and Mustang Desserts Cake Pop Decorating upstairs from 1pm-2pm (fully booked)
  • March 15th: Delight in the magic of the Bubble Queen from 11am-12pm.
Maple Fest:
  • Join us upstairs on March 16th from 9am-1pm to celebrate Maple Fest with a bouncy castle, live music, maple products for sale & more!
  • Join us on the main floor near Magpie's Collected Creations for a kids craft zone! From colouring pages to wooden keychains of mushrooms and acorns that you can color yourself, you won't want to miss you!
Cooking Class:
  • Join us every Saturday in the Market kitchen from 11am-12pm. No registration required, it's first come, first served. Door open at 10:40am.
Farmers Market:
  • Every Saturday upstairs in the Mezzanine from 9am-1pm. Don't forget on March 30th 8am to 1pm, it is the first outdoor Farmers Market of the Season!

Exciting News Coming This Spring! Brace yourselves as the famous Culberts Bakery from Goderich gears up to join the Market family! Since the 1800s, they’ve delighted their customers with fresh treats like sticky loaves, old recipe cookies and their very special cream puff donuts They even carry a great array of different types of fresh breads We can hardly contain our excitement for this delicious addition! See you in spring, ready to indulge, Culberts fans!

SPRING IS IN THE AIR

Spring is in the air! While the official start isn’t until March 19th, the weather has us feeling the vibes! Minus the burst of snow from Sunday, the weather seems to be (hopefully) headed in the right direction. There is much to look forward to with the nice weather, more outside picnics here at the Market, more fun outdoor Markets and many exciting festivals. Much is to come this Spring & Summer and we can barely hold in our excitement!

What’s got you buzzing for Spring at the Market?! For us, we can’t wait to bring our Saturday Farmers Market back outside on Easter Weekend and to explore all the fresh spring treasures our indoor vendors have in store!

Heading down to the Market this weekend? Make sure to stop by the Farmers Market 9am to 1pm. For the month of March it will be taking place back upstairs in the Mezzanine!

Join us in the market kitchen for our cooking class hosted by Chef Geraldine. Chef Geraldine will be demonstrating how to make Skor Shortbread Cookies!

SPRING PERSIAN MARKET

A spring market celebrating the arrival of spring and coinciding with the Iranian New Year, ‘Nowruz’ (meaning ‘New Day’). Inspired by the vibrant markets in Iran during this season, Polina’s Nostalgic Treats aims to evoke nostalgia from her birthplace, offering a unique experience to fellow Canadians.


The Now Ruz Spring Market will feature local Iranian artists, handcrafts, Iranian sweets, Saffron, locally grown wheat sprouts, and spring flowers to name a few. In addition, there will be live Persian music and kids’ activities. All are welcome and free admission.


Taking place here at the Covent Garden Market on March 16th 2:30pm-6pm and March 17th 11am-4pm upstairs in the Mezzanine.
