Mushroom Mutter Masala with Garlic Nan

Ingredients

  • 2 Onion, medium sized- sliced
  • 2 Roma Tomatoes, large dice
  • 2″ piece Cinnamon
  • 4 Cloves
  • 5 Peppercorns
  • 2 tbsp oil

 

  • 2 tsp ginger-garlic grated/paste/puree
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • ½ tsp cayenne powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder

 

  • 4 cups Mushroom medley- white, crimini, oyster, shitake, king oyster, honey etc
  • 1 cup Green peas

 

  • ¼ cup 35%
  • Cilantro leaves, chopped for garnish

 

Garlic Nan:

  • 2 packs Plain Nan
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp butter

Directions

Garlic Nan:

  1. Cut nan into 2 or 3 pieces.
  2. Gently warm the oil in a pot. Turn the heat off and add butter and minced garlic.
  3. Brush this mix on pieces of nan.
  4. Warm them in an oven at 350°F for 4 minutes.
  5. Serve hot.
