Dust off those costumes and get ready for treats! 🎃👻🕷🖤

Sunday, October 27th, celebrate the spooky season at the Market from 12pm to 3pm! You’ll find:

🧡 Candy and Chocolate for kids dressed in their best costumes (while supplies last)👻
🧡 Bouncy Castle
🧡 Fae Painting & Glitter Tattoos
🧡 Kids colouring corner
🧡 A boo-tastic photo opportunity

Plus, The Thinking Caps will be keeping the square alive! A fun, interactive and entertaining family friendly rock ‘n roll band!


Budweiser Gardens, Dundas Place, Downtown London, Eldon House, Covent Garden Market, Museum London, and Grand Theatre are excited to announce the Downtown Candy Crawl on Sunday, October 27th from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Families will have the opportunity to trick-or-treat at participating businesses while exploring the downtown core.

“We are excited to take part in the annual Candy Crawl, a cherished tradition that brings our community together for a day of fun and festivity” said Kelly Austin, General Manager of Budweiser Gardens with Oak View Group. Each year, we look forward to expanding this event, seeing the creativity of costumes, and the smile on participants faces as they journey through downtown.”

Families are also invited to enjoy a day of Halloween games, circus performances, spooky music and a mini market with the businesses of Dundas Place. In addition, you can dust off those costumes and head down to the Covent Garden Market for a Halloween Boo-Bash! Taking place 12pm to 3pm, families can enjoy a boo-tastic photo opportunity, and 100 free treat for kids dressed in their best costumes, face painting and glitter tattoos from Team Dotsy, a bouncy castle and live music!

Attendees can also participate in Spooky Gourd Painting from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Eldon House Grounds. Enjoy the fall atmosphere as children decorate mini gourds and learn about the origins of Trick or Treating. Please note that children aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult participation is by donation, so come enjoy this festive activity!

Attendees can partake in a costume contest by posting their costume on social media using the hashtag #LDNCandyCrawl. Prizes will range from $150 Downtown Dollars, tickets to Disney on Ice: Mickey’s Search Party, and so much more!

NEW HORIZONS BAND PERFORMANCE

New Horizons Band will be performing upstairs in the Mezzanine this Saturday at 2pm! New Horizons is an international movement that gives adults the opportunity to learn an instrument as a beginner or return to playing after several years away from playing. Western’s program was the first New Horizons Band in Canada, and remains one of the largest programs of its kind in North America. We have close to 200 members over the five band levels. This performance by one of our advanced bands will feature a program of light and popular music.
