Onwards & Upwards With The Fun-tivities!

Wow, what an incredible weekend in London! The market hosted its first-ever Island Fest, and it was an absolute hit. The turnout was simply astounding, and London really showed up; the support from the community was amazing. The lines at the vendors' stations were a testament to the festival's popularity, with many food vendors selling out due to the overwhelming demand. The performances were top-notch, providing delightful music and creating an unforgettable atmosphere.
Looking ahead, this weekend offers a brief break from the festival fun, but fear not; we have our always wonderful Saturday morning at the farmers market. The weather promises to be perfect, with the sun shining bright. Join us from 8 am to 1 pm for a delightful time.
Please note that we will be closed on Monday, August 7th, for the Civic holiday, but we'll be back on Tuesday morning with our regular market hours: Monday to Saturday, 8 am to 6 pm, and Sunday, 11 am to 4 pm.
While we may not have an extravagant festival this weekend, brace yourself for a series of thrilling events lined up for the rest of this month. Each weekend promises to be filled with joy, celebration, and community spirit. Stay tuned for more fun-filled weekends at the market!

VENDOR HIGHLIGHT

When RJ first arrived in Canada, she stayed at a downtown hotel, and fate led her to stumble upon the Market. Instantly, she was drawn to its enchanting atmosphere, unique style, and vibrant community. At this very Market, she savoured her first taste of ice cream in Canada, marking the beginning of an amazing connection.

Despite finding fulfillment as a nurse, RJ’s heart kept leading her back to the Market. She would often come to the Market for breakfast with her husband and every time she did, it fueled her desire to want to become an integral part of this close-knit community.

In 2022, destiny presented her with an opportunity to become one of the many fantastic food vendors, and she seized it eagerly. Today, RJ is the proud owner of the town’s finest, La Burreria, and her business thrives as she delights customers daily, both at the market and at various festivals. Her journey to success fills her with boundless joy.

RJ’s story is a testament to the bond she shares with the Market, a place at the heart of London’s downtown. Merging her passions, she now possesses something she truly adores and takes pride in being its owner.

Stay tuned for more captivating stories from our vendors, each sharing a unique connection to the Market – an exciting journey we can’t wait to share with you!
