Those who came out to the market saw an array of fresh produce including the highly demanded asparagus from Thames River Melons! We didn’t expect asparagus considering the recent frost, but a few lucky people managed to snag some bunches!
Orchard Hill, Sungold Market Garden, and Greystead Gardens also offered a wide variety of freshly picked bounties, including rhubarb, green garlic, wonderful salad mixes with fresh greens, turnips, radishes, and SO MUCH MORE.
Seth from La Houlette de Vie was also at the market with his delicious breads and pastries! I was too late when I went in for a loaf, but plenty of people were able to grab their weekly bread fix – it didn’t last long!
Those who came out to the Indoor Winter market may have met Jesse from The Hot Sauce Co. who was also out our first Outdoor market with his premium hot sauces and pickles! The Hot Sauce Co. won’t be at the market this weekend, but he will be back for May 30th, just in time to replenish!
A new face at our market was Jude from The Welsh Baker! Thanks for giving her such a warm welcome, London! Her welsh cakes completely sold out, and those who pre-ordered a brunch box for pick-up made a smart move!
