Pulled Pork – served on a tortilla chip with guacamole

Prep Time:



  • 1/2 c Brown sugar
  • 1/4 c kosher salt
  • 2T onion powder
  • 2T garlic powder
  • 1/4 c chili powder
  • 2T smoked sweet paprika
  • 3 lb pork shoulder

  1. Preheat oven to 325 F
  2. Combine all rub ingredients in a small bowl
  3. Rub all over pork shoulder
  4. Place the shoulder in a large roasting pan, cover tightly with foil
  5. Slow roast until fork tender 2-4 hours
  6. Shred with a fork into bite sized pieces
