Shopping Season

Thank you everyone who joined us for the first day of our extended season! As you may have noticed, many of our vendors are done for the season, and there is still such a great selection of food. Alongside our wonderful farmers, the time of year has come where there is a different shopping event almost every weekend. With so many opportunities to shop from unique and local vendors, there is no excuse not to support local this holiday season.

Merry Makers Fair

We invite you to join us at the Covent Garden Market on Sunday, November 10th for the Merry Makers Fair! A 100% handmade event held in the heart of the Forest City. Admission is free and underground parking is free upon validation (2 hours).
The Merry Makers Fair mission is simple; to inspire and encourage up and coming small, 100% handmade businesses and connect them to conscious consumers in London.
Here you’ll find some of the best handmade shopping around, from Art, Home Decor, Jewelry, Clothing, Bath and Beauty products – everything you need to get a jump start on your Christmas list, and support local at the same time!

This event takes place upstairs on the Mezzanine from 11-4 on Sunday November 10th.

Sunshine in your smoothies

With the days getting shorter, and we have fewer chances to get sunshine on our faces, we must search for it in different forms. Luckily for us, Thames River Melons has preserved some in the form of frozen berries! That’s right, you can purchase locally grown berries of all sorts that have been prepared and frozen for your winter smoothies.

Many smoothie recipes call for a form of dairy or dairy alternative. Homeopathy London has got us covered in the alternate dairy department, and Mark’s fine meats has some beautiful local organic dairy in glass bottles that can be returned to reduce waste. Toss in some Canadian grown hemp seeds, a knob of Orchard Hill Farms Ginger, and drizzle of Lynch Maple Farms Syrup, all to be found at Covent Garden Market.
