Spread the word!

We have had an amazing season so far and are grateful to all who have supported us. Throughout many of the events, we have done lots of surveys asking people a wide variety of questions. Some of these involve, "What mode of transportation did you use to get here today?" or "Is this your first time at the market?" That last question showed us that it was in fact many people's first time joining us at our outdoor farmers markets. This was so exciting for us to see and we know that you sharing your experiences with friends and family is a big part of that. Keep spreading the word and getting people downtown to enjoy all the amazing food London Middlesex county has to offer!

20th Anniversary

While London Ontario has seen 174 years of Covent Garden Market in many different forms, the space we currently occupy has been here for 20 years! On October 19th we will be celebrating the 20th Anniversary. If you have any stories you would like to share with us, we would love to hear them!

We are celebrating by saying a BIG thank you to all our loyal customers! There will be an array of delicious foods featured by our Market vendors, live entertainment, amazing giveaways and make sure to bring the Kids! There will be face painting, balloon twisters and Ricky Magic will be performing his remarkable Magic Show at Noon. Free event!

Again this event takes place: October 19th 10:00-2:00

Storage Vegetables

Squash, Garlic, Onions, Potatoes, Turnips, Beets and Carrots are all examples of great produce to stock up on while it’s in season. These vegetables store so well in dark cool environments. Do you have a pantry or cupboard that would make the perfect storage space for these items? Get this produce while you can and chat with your farmers about tips and tricks for making these items last well into the winter. Below are two great articles with tips on storing produce in your kitchen.
