Still Feelin’ The Love

We had our rose coloured glasses on for the first two weeks of February, and we're still feeling the love as we continue on through the month. Read this week's newsletter for some hosting inspo, farmer's market details, and a chance to win $50 in Market gift certificates! Time is flying, but there’s still plenty to see, do, and taste at the Market. ♥️

Hosting Inspo!

Valentine’s Day has come and gone, but there’s plenty of fun left to be had. If you’re having friends over this month, make up a cheese plate for the ones you love using fresh produce and tasty treats from the Market!

Our haul features water crackers and port wine cheese from Smith Cheese, walnuts, fresh raspberries and pears from Doris Family Produce, and dark chocolate salted caramels from The Chocolate Factory. Add some extra goodies as you see fit and you’re ready to entertain! Perfect for two, or size it up for a group. ♥️

Buy The Flowers

I don’t know about you, but having a few days of slightly warmer weather and bright sunshine this week has me thinking about warm spring days ahead and fresh blooms from the garden. There’s still a whole lot of winter weather ahead of us, if you’re like me, it might be time to perk things up and buy some blooms!

Forget Me Not Flowers is our resident family-owned and operated flower shop: they’ve got a variety of fresh flowers and house plants that are sure to bring a little extra life to your living space. Pick up a few stems for yourself and someone you love!

Farmers Market Vendor Highlight - La Houlette De Vie

It’s that time of year again…our Indoor Farmers’ Market is back upstairs in the Mezzanine! Join us every week until March 28 before we head back outdoors on April 4.

We’re so lucky to have so many amazing vendors this season, and we want you to get to know them a little better. Each week, we’ll be spotlighting one of our incredible makers, starting with La Houlette De Vie, owned and operated by Seth.

“La Houlette De Vie” means The Staff of Life, a phrase that highlights bread as an important everyday staple. Seth’s breads are made using freshly milled local organic grains and simple ingredients like flour, water, sourdough, and salt. Each loaf is naturally fermented and crafted through a slow process that can take up to 24 hours from start to finish.

He sources his flour from local mills and farms, and everything is made with care, patience, and traditional methods you can truly taste in every bite. If you’ve ever tried one of his breads or pastries, you already know they are filling, wholesome, and honestly just taste like pure love.

Be sure to stop by this week, say hi to Seth, and pick up a loaf or two. Once you try it, you will definitely be back for more.
