Thames River Melons Rhubarb Custard Pie is quick & easy, featuring one of their favourite spring crops. Give it a try and let us know what you think!

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2. Whisk together the dry ingredients.
3. Next, stir the beaten eggs and vanilla into the flour mixture until smooth and silky. Then add the chopped rhubarb and mix until coated.
4. Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie shell.
5. Now prepare the topping: mix together the sugar and flour in a small bowl. Using a fork, cut in the butter until the mixture becomes crumbly.
6. Sprinkle topping mixture over the rhubarb filling.
7.Bake for one hour.
8. Enjoy!

Shawn began to pursue a musical career upon graduating with a degree in Elementary Education and Music Education from the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança in Portugal. While performing in several venues across London, Shawn is seeking to collaborate with other artists and perform wherever the music takes him. As of summer, 2022, Shawn Andrew’s works promise an evening of delight, original, poetic, harmonious compositions and rhythmic arrangements.

The Cool Shoes Trio will be performing on the Rotary Square this Saturday 11:00am to 1:00pm.
Cool Shoes Trio is a collaboration of three of London’s premier musicians; John Brocksom (keyboards and voice), Rob Weatherstone (bass and voice) and Allen Jacob (voice). With a deft touch they bring a respectful nod to a wide range of theatre and jazz standards, adult easy listening and modern and original works: they add their unique stylistic flavor that results in astounding and emotional performances. The Cool Shoes Trio is an exceptional musical experience and designed to be scalable, allowing for the addition of top flight musicians to heighten an already remarkable performance.

Join us for “Wellness Wednesday’s” as local yoga studio, Crooked Crow Studios, guides you through a FREE one-hour all levels yoga class to help you get back outside & destress!
It is within Crooked Crow Studios mission to collect donations for local charities, to practice yoga, and build community connections as a way to extend positive energy beyond the mat. The studio has partnered with 519 Pursuit to collect donations on their behalf at these FREE outdoor classes! Check Facebook or Instagram for items that are in need each week.
