The Last Week of Summer

September 16, 2026
Throughout our farm tour series this summer, we’ve been asking our farmers which three words they’d use to describe the Market, and it got us thinking about how much more we are than just a place in our city. 🏙️💭
From tradition to celebration to fun — what’s one word you’d use to describe the Market? Visit our Instagram or Facebook and leave us a comment to weigh in, or share a special memory you’ve made here so we can reminisce with you. 🏫♥️🧺 The Market is open 9am-7pm Tuesday-Saturday and 10am-5pm on Sundays. We hope to make new memories with you soon!

We’re back with another TWO farm tour videos! This time around, we’re visiting Dan and Bronwyn at The Wandering Bee Flower Farm. It’s peak season for dahlias and they’ve got a ton of exciting events happening at the farm! 💐
We chat about how Dan and Bronwyn got their start as flower farmers, and we touch on a few points about how they maintain organic practices while still keeping their blooms picture perfect. They also told us a little more about their love story and how it began over a few dates at the Market. We’re so excited about their Meadow Design Workshop coming up on September 27! Details can be found on their website, thewanderingbee.ca 💻
It feels really special to learn from the people who follow decades of family tradition and put endless hours into their craft to sustain our local food system. Thanks again to Dan and Bronwyn for spending the morning playing in the flower fields with us! ♥️ Click here to watch part 1 and click here to watch part 2!
Simple things. Seasonal flavours. Made by hand.
There’s something about the change into fall that makes us want to slow down, gather around the table and make something good.
The Fall Kitchen Collection is a hands-on, seasonal workshop created around that feeling.
This isn’t a cooking class where you sit back and watch someone else do the making. It’s an evening to get your hands busy, play with flavours, learn a few simple techniques and enjoy the experience of creating something from scratch — together.
Friday, October 9 | 6:00–8:00 PM
Covent Garden Market | London, ON
$95 + HST | Limited to 20 spots
What we’ll make
You’ll create your own collection of simple, fall-inspired kitchen staples:
🍞 Fall-inspired bread – a delicious loaf made by you from start to finish
🧈 Flavoured butter – because a little butter can make an ordinary meal feel pretty special
🧂 Seasoning salt – create your own blend to bring extra flavour to fall cooking and baking
🥒 Seasonal quick-pickled vegetables – a simple way to preserve seasonal flavour and brighten up everything from sandwiches to a dinner board
And yes, everything you make goes home with you.
Your ticket includes all ingredients, jars and containers, plus the recipes and inspiration you’ll need to recreate your favourites at home.
