Our growers are working hard to be ready for the farmers’ market. Greystead Gardens is one of our farmers who has fresh produce available almost all year long due to their season lengthening growing practices. They’ll be with us every week starting this Saturday! Our other farmers’ don’t usually have produce or fresh goods ready until later on. Orchard Hill Farm will be with us for our Easter Market, and then will return again in May when Sungold Market Garden and Thames River Melons join us again too! Then, moving forward to June, Joyce Farms will be back as well! And let’s not forget flowers – The Wandering Bee is hoping for good weather which will bring them to the market for about the middle of April!

It feels like we’ve been waiting for eons for the farmers’ market to open again, but there are only TWO days until fresh produce from Greystead at our special Spring Mini Market! I cannot wait to munch on fresh greens!

Here’s who you’ll find at the Farmers’ Market this Saturday, March 27th, from 8-1! Meet us there, indoors and upstairs on the Mezzanine!

• Greystead Gardens – fresh produce, preserves, herbs
• Helm Baked – gluten free treats
• La Houlette de Vie – breads and pastries
• Snake Bite Creations – naturally hand dyed scrunchies, totes, masks, art prints, greeting cards
• Blanbrook Bison Farm – bison products
• Pillitteri Estates Winery – VQA Ontario wines
• Bakes by Lily J – chocolate treats and cupcakes
• Da Costa – handmade stone and leather jewelry
• Harvest Moon Trade Co. – preserves, granola, mustards, and more

• We’ll have 50 Limited Edition Reusable Bags to hand out! These are a new design that we’re sure you’ll love as much as we do!
• We’ll also have 100 special treats and gifts that will get you in the Spring spirit! (We can’t wait to show these to you!)
• And, beautiful flower stems for every child or young person (under 18)!
