We have more exciting news!

The weather is really doing us some favours! That sun, that warmth - if I didn't know better, I'd store my winter gear! I'm sure we'll be getting some more cold or snow bouts as is typical, but for now, let's bask in that Spring feeling! Speaking of Spring... check out our news below! “It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade" - Charles Dickens, Great Expectations.

🌸SPRING MINI MARKET🌸

Can’t wait for our Outdoor Farmers’ Market Opening on Easter Weekend? Neither can we!

To get everyone excited, we’re having a special INDOOR 🌸SPRING MINI MARKET🌸 on Saturday, March 27th upstairs on the Mezzanine. Some of your favourite vendors are coming together to put on a special farmers’ market before the big day, with lots of special surprises. You will not what to miss this!

All first come, first serve; BUT the joy will be endless 💕

  • Where: Indoors, Upstairs on the Market Mezzanine

*Safety is our main concern. We will be screening people not only as the enter the market, but as they enter the Farmers’ Market space as well. Everyone will be asked to sanitize their hands and wait to enter so we can monitor numbers. Masks are always mandatory Indoors.*

We’ll be sharing the vendor list beforehand as usual, but you’ll be sure to see many familiar faces! Who are you hoping will be there?

Signs of Spring

Do you follow our vendors online? Some have been posting updates as their plants grow and it is so exciting to watch. Ellen from Orchard Hill Farm planted her first seeds of 2021 back at the end of January – little spinach seeds – and I think about those little plants every day, dreaming of how far they’ve come. Thames River Melons shared a lovely photo of their onion seedlings popping up from the soil. That’s always a great visual of Spring and new life! I wish I could smell the greenhouses with that fresh earthy scent!
