Winter is Here

How are you London? Hopefully you are enjoying the tidbits of sunshine scattered through these snowy and ice cold days. This weekend Saturday February 2nd, come warm up your soul with some live music. We will have some chairs set up, so make sure to grab a coffee or hot chocolate before heading upstairs to the Mezzanine to watch the music. A big thank you to everyone who came and donated items last week for 519 pursuit. They were able to provide many people living on the streets with warm items to get them through this cold spell. Farmers' markets are all about building community and connections with people and we did just that!

What's in your Kitchen?

Valentine’s Day is on the horizon so we are looking to get a head start on the rush for a perfect evening.

If you’re evening plans include cooking a meal for someone, try using our new instagram hashtag #cgmarketcooks to be featured. We want to see all the awesome ways you are using local food in your kitchen!

In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, Da Costa, one of our beloved artisan vendors will be at the market this week only. Her handcrafted jewelry, made for both men and woman is a London favourite. If you need any advice Da Costa will be there to help you choose the perfect gift. We love having her energy at market in the summer and are looking forward to a winter reunion!

Local Chef Pop Up

Our cooking class this week is set to be one for the books. Chef Angie Murphy will be joining us to share her food wisdom and talk about Grace Restaurant. Soon to be a new addition to our downtown core, we are excited to learn more about our neighbours. Murphy is passionate about using local foods and we are excited to see how she moves forward working with the local agricultural community.

Please join us this week at 11am for a free opportunity to see a master at work. Recipe to be announced via social media and will be uploaded to the website shortly.
