Pride London at the Farmers’ Market
Pride London Festival will be at the Covent Garden Farmers’ Market from 8am to 1pm Saturday July 24th to celebrate PRIDE!
Throw on your best rainbow attire and practice your poses for a Drag Queen Photo Booth, with two of London’s best queens, Miss Shaneen and Roxy Rhymes. Participants are asked to donate to Pride London’s fundraiser for the Chippewa of the Thames First Nations to support their community during a boil water advisory. CASH DONATIONS ONLY. A red box with the word “donations” will be set up near the photo booth.
Pride London will also be selling exclusive pride merch, including delicious locally made lollipops and handing out Pride flags and stickers! They also are offering up the chance to win two tickets to Inside Out Toronto’s drive-in film festival at the Mustang Drive-In!
Gill Clelland, an Old East Village sidewalk chalk artist, will also be at the Market creating a special piece in celebration of Pride. Sidewalk chalk will be available for you to create your own message of Pride, bring the whole crew and show off your Pride! (Weather dependent.)
Let’s paint the town RAINBOW, London!
